On Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the Auditorium of the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Raden Fatah State Islamic University (UIN) Palembang Library, an International Guest Lecturer activity was held. This activity carries the theme “Transforming Islamic Education for Economic Empowerment: Building a Generation of SDGs in the Global Era”.
This activity was organized by the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang by presenting speakers Mr. Ahmed Essa L. Alhazmi and Mr. Al Barg Abdullah J. Alameer, who are the Attaché and Deputy Attaché for Religious Affairs, Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Indonesia. This activity was attended by lecturers and students of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, as well as a foreign student from Saudi Arabia, Abdelrahman Eltayeb Elamin Muhammed.

Deputy Chief Executive and Deputy Dean I, Dr. Maftukhatusholikhah, M.Ag, said “UIN Raden Fatah Palembang is holding an International Guest Lecturer Program to provide global insight to students through direct lectures from international experts. This program aims to enrich students’ academic and practical perspectives, improve critical thinking skills, and strengthen global networks. In addition to supporting the SDGs goals, this program also opens up opportunities for international collaboration and prepares students to face global challenges”.
